Taj Mahal

Agra Fort

Fatehpur Sikri

When the prophecy came true, Akbar built his new capital, including a stunning mosque, still in use today, and has three palaces, each containing one of his favorite wives  A Hindu, a Muslim and a Christian (though Hindu villager) dispute these claims in Sikri.

Tomb of Akbar
 This mausoleum is located at Sikandara, about 14 km from the Taj Mahal in Agra. Walking on the main Agra-Mathura National Highway 2 at Sikandra, you can observe a large beautiful entrance of carved stones on the right. This beautiful entrance opens into a garden, at the end of which is a four-storeyed building which houses the Sanataf House of Akbar the Great.

Jama Masjid

Baby Taj or Itimad-ud-Daulah

Their marriage was considered an example of religious tolerance. However, the marriage between them was more than a political alliance. Chini ka Rauza
